"Today, I was riding my Big Dog Chopper. I stop to fill it up with gas at the shell station right around the corner from your dealership. When I went to start it, it woundn't start. I started pushing it towards your dealership. One of your tec saw me coming and help me push it the rest of the way. We pushed it inside and a couple of other tec came to see what could be wrong with it. They decided that the battery was done. They charged it and got me on my way. I did not get thier names but I wanted the management to know that I also have a Harley and because of thier kindness Powder Keg is at the top of my list. "I have had deuces in the past, and had decided to trade it in for something bigger for my wife and I to ride on. Hated get rid of my deuce, Love that bike. Any way, i live in Dayton Ohio, I had been looking around for weeks for a road Glide Ultra, and thought I had worked out a deal at a couple of Harley dealerships in my area. But when I brought my 04 deuce in, that i had put 25000.00 into, they tried to low ball me. ""I bought a 2011 Heritage Softail April 25 2011 I will never forget that day as soon as we walked in we was greeted we walked in around 5pm on a Saturday they close at 7pm they stayed over I think around 10pm we walked out of the store .even after the purchase when we walk in they make us feel like family ,we had our 10 month old baby with us and usually when we do she gets tired and grumpy and when that happens we usually just leave a place, but with the people here they all gave her attention, and rich at parts he’s funny she really liked him and usually she would cry around a big guy like him he's awesome. I need to share my recent experience at Powder Keg H-D. I have been in sales for 18 years and sold my last bike 16 years ago to buy a home. For all those years I have had my motorcycle License but never broke down to re-invest in myself the freedom of riding with sheer pleasure. I always thought there would come a day when the dollar would hit the road again for a bike. Visiting friends at the nearby water park Derby weekend was a chance to get away. Most people stay in Louisville for parties or even attending the race, but I have always been different. Which leads me to this, two Sundays ago I had I had the experience of a lifetime! I stopped by Powder Keg H-D just for a look at new inventory. I quickly realized I wasn't at an average dealership. Ed Carmack & Jaime Hugenberg not only handled themselves in such a professional manner and also had me invest an extra half hour in meeting all the key members of the parts, accessories and service staff. I thought, "Wow, all this fuss for me just looking?" I left that day with one thought in mind, that is the way I have run my own business for the last 6-1/2 years, going that critical extra step in putting the whole buying experience first for a "Potential Buyer". Jaime followed up promptly in forwarding pics of two different Softail Cross Bones. Throughout the week I did research with friends on the Cross Bones bikes. I also had the misfortune of visiting H-D dealerships in Louisville with a very unpleasant experience at each. One sales guy just bashed everything I said and the other dealership the owner aswered and was rude on the phone. I still visited each a second time to see if it was me and my hard nose opinion of how I should be handled, but again left both with bad vibes. So I went back to an old sales technique I learned 18 years ago. First or last company most often gets the business. Which made me realize one thing, the folks at Powder Keg H-D is well worth the 1:45 min. Drive from Louisville. They unpacked a brand new 2010 Cross Bones from freight and three guys stayed late almost an hour this past Saturday night to load it in my truck. I really can't say enough about the "Total Experience" at Powder Keg H-D!
